Cheektowaga junior wrestler Renaldo Rodriguez-Spencer defeated Alfred Bannister of Maryland 4-3 in the finals to claim the 2013 Annual National High School Wrestling 138 lb. Junior Championship. The 24th annual tourney was held in Virignia Beach, Virgina.
Rodriguez-Spencer won six matches to claim the title among 75 competitors in his 138 lb. bracket consisting of High School juniors. Twelve of those wrestlers were State Champions from their respective states. Rodrigue-Spencer won the New York State Div II 132 lb. State Championship back in February in Albany.
