“The Rocket” Tommy Catalano and Shawn Nye were on the front row for the start of the 35 lap Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Modifieds feature event and it was Catalano showing the way early. The caution would come out on lap one when several cars including Jeff Brown, Kirk Totten, Amy Catalano, Matt Druar and Bobby Martin came together in turn one. Druar and Brown needed tow trucks to get back to the pit area. On the restart it was Tommy Catalano and Neal Dietz Jr showing the way around the tight Holland highbanks and it was Catalano showing the way with Dietz, Camden Barber, Nye and Mike Fiebelkorn Jr in the top five. Fiebelkorn and Nye went side by side for fourth place with “The Piranha” TJ Potrzebowski running right behind him. Potrzebowski was able to clear Nye to take over fifth by lap 10.

Shawn Nye’s great run came to a halt on the top side of turn four on lap 12 to bring out the races second caution of the event. On the restart, Cam Barber’s motor went up in smoke on the 01. Tommy Catalano pulled away on the restart with Mike Fiebelkorn Jr, Andy Jankowiak, George Skora III and Neal Dietz in the top five at the races cross flags. Jankowiak went to work on Fiebelkorn and the 2012 Champion got around the 2010 titlist to move into second place with 13 laps remaining. With Tommy Catalano and Andy J showing the way, George Skora passed Fiebelkorn to move into third place. Kirk Totten spun in turn four to bring out the caution for the races third time with 10 laps remaining. The lap 25 restart saw Tommy Catalano not fire and suffered a broken tie-rod. The second go around on the restart saw the last two divisional champions on the front row as Jankowiak (2012) and George Skora III (2013) lead the field back to the green flag and the duo went side by side for a circuit and Skora took over the lead with nine laps remaining. The caution would come out again as TJ Potrzebowski spun on the front stretch. The restart saw Jankowiak pull in front of Skora with Fiebelkorn, Joe Evans and Jake Vernon racing in the top five. Jankowiak and Skora came together and Amy Catalano took over the lead as the white flag fell. Catalano would hold off Jake Vernon to pick up her first checkered flag of the season.

Nik Welshans and Eric Brown led the Bank of Holland NASCAR Chargers with Brown showing the way early. Ted Welshans, Tommy Wentland and last weeks feature winner Tom Northem came together on the back stretch and both suffered major damage. Both Wentland and Northem were alright after the incident as both got the worse of the incident. Welshans was able to continue racing. The field once again went under green flag conditions with Brown showing the way. Former divisional champion Dave Wilson Jr stated 15th on the grid and worked his way up through the field but no body could catch Brown as the former Hornet champion picked up the Charger victory. “I lost power steering on lap 10” said Brown in victory lane.

Eric Musto and Hayden Newcomb were on the front row for the NYPA TQ Midgets main event and it was Newcomb jumping into the early lead. Dave Wollaber raced his way into second as Jonathan Reid, Musto and Andy Jankowiak raced in the top five early on. Defending NYPA Series Champion Kyle Hutchinson passed Musto to move into the top five and started chasing the Jankowiak number 0 entry. With Newcomb pulling away, Wollaber and Reid put on a battle for second and right behind them, Jankowiak, Hutchinson and opening night winner Andy Nye were deicing it out for fourth.  Reid was able to get around Wollaber for second with seven laps remaining and set his sights on the race leader Newcomb. Reid went to the outside and passed Newcomb right at the stripe to collect the checkers.

Carl Vilardo IV and Tyler McCardle led the INEX Legends to the green flag for their 20 lap feature event with Vilardo showing the way early. Jeremy Haudricourt took the lead away from Vilardo on lap two and started to pull away from the rest of the INEX Legends field. Brandon DeBrakeleer moved up from his fourth starting spot to take over second before the halfway point and started to reel in race leader Haudricourt. Haudricourt and DeBrakeleer pulled away from the rest of the field and settled the race among them. Haudricourt was able to hold off the challenges from DeBrakeleer to pick up the win. Vilardo would finish in third and was followed by Bryce Norton and Tyler McCardle completed the top five.

Timmy Swatsworth and Joe Mastrocicco III led the 4 Cylinder Hornets to the green flag for their 30 lap feature event with third place starter Bob Bogner leading the opening circuit. Last week’s feature winner Kenny Hejna and Chris Powers worked their way into second and third early on and Powers went around Hejna to take over second before the races fifth circuit. Powers went right to work on leader Bogner and by lap ten, Powers took over the race lead. At the races halfway point, it was Powers showing the way over Hejna with Bogner, Timmy Catalano and Joe Mastrocicco racing in fifth place. Powers was in complete domination as only the top three remained on the lead lap at the end of the 30 lap distance. Powers would cross the line in first and was followed by Kenny Hejna, Bob Bogner, Timmy Catalano and Josh Hill. However, the top four were found to be illegal in post-race tech so Hill was declared the winner.
