Kenny Hejna, Kevin Becker and Cory Espinosa Big Winners at Crash-A-Rama at Holland Motorsports Complex

HOLLAND, NY…“The Wildest Show on Wheels” Carwarz Crash-A-Rama made its final visit of the 2013 season to the historic Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex in front of a capacity crowd on a sunny Saturday in the Holland hills. “Hot Hands” Kenny Hejna picked up the win in the Enduro while Matthew Serafin won the Flag Pole race. The team of Marty Hughes, Lou Carbone, and Louis Carbone picked up the victory in the Roller Derby. Kevin Becker held off Clint Riegel for the win in the School Bus Figure 8 Race. Don Roesch won the Boat-Trailer Race while Cory Espinosa outlasted Tim Haniszewski in the front wheeled drive demolition derby.

The fall finale started when the world famous Cannon Lady dazzled the crowd as she flew down the front straightaway. Radical Rob the Human Bomb also performed as 10 sticks of dynamite exploded as he exploded out of a box.

118 cars, five wide across, 30 rows deep on the highbanks was how the Enduro began with John Grandits leading since lap 5. Grandits dominated this event but it was Kenny Hejna using lap traffic to his advantage and was awarded the victory in the 80 lap affair. Several red flags were flown in the event but no one was seriously injured.

The popular School Bus Figure 8 race even had a celebrity take part as Linda Pellegrino, host of WKBW-TV Channel 7’s popular morning program AM Buffalo raced in the Angels of Awareness Bus. Angels of Awareness is a local grass roots foundation dedicated to helping women with ovarian cancer. The feature event was led by Kevin Becker and Clint Riegel to the green flag and it was Kevin Beck showing the way. Becker led until lap seven as Riegel was able work his way around lap traffic to take the lead. Becker worked back underneath Riegel for the lead on lap 12 and Becker took the win.

Seven teams competed in the Roller Derby as the team of Marty Hughes, and the father and son duo of Louis and Louis Carbone picked up the win. David Ansiewicz led most of the Flag Pole race but it was Matthew Serafin grabbing the lead going into the flag pole turn on the sixth lap and he held on Ansiewicz to grab the victory. Don Roesch led from the drop of the green flag and he rolled to the victory in the popular boat-trailer race. New to Holland for the fall edition of Crash-A-Rama, members of Team Total Mayhem picked up the win in the Lawn Mower Demolition Derby. Tim Haniszewski Jr outlasted Cory Espinosa to win the Front Wheeled Drive Demolition Derby.

The Bennett family along with the entire staff and management of the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex would like to thank all the drivers, crews, owners, spectators and sponsors for making 2013 a season that we will never forget. The 2013 season will officially come to a close on Saturday November 2nd as it is the annual Awards Banquet and Dinner at the Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga, NY, right next to the Walden Galleria Mall.
