BUFFALO, NY – The UB wrestling coaching staff will be hosting their first-ever coaches’ clinic on October 25-26. The new UB wrestling coaching staff will be holding the clinic at the Alumni Arena Wrestling Room.

“I am excited to announce the dates for the our staffs first UB Coaching Clinic,” stated first-year head coach John Stutzman. “My Coaching Staff is committed to building UB wrestling, Section VI as well as New York State wrestling as a whole. This year’s coaching clinic is going to give us an opportunity to meet many of the great coaches in the area, and learn from some of the best technicians is the country. With over 80 years of tradition at UB, we are looking forward to building upon the past success and create a championship program on and off the mat.”

Tentative seminar topics will be speed, strength and conditioning training for wrestling along with pivotal point in wrestling. Freestyle and Greco program development and youth development will also be discussed. Another major topic of discussion will be NCAA eligibility.

Pre-registration for the clinic begins now for the price of $150 for the first coach and $90 for each additional coach. These prices will stay the same until October 21 when the cost jumps to $180 for the first coach and $105 for each additional coach.
