Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcel Dareus has agreed to a reported $106 million dollar, six year contract extension. Dareus will receive a reported $60 million of the contract guaranteed.

Marcel Dareus was the 3rd overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Bills, has appeared in the Pro Bowl and his new deal is the second-largest contract for a defensive player in NFL history, coming in just behind the six-year, $114 million deal signed by Ndamukong Suh with the Miami Dolphins this past winter.

Because of a violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy, Dareus is suspended from the Bills’ season opener on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
