BUFFALO, N.Y. (November 5, 2014) – HARBORCENTER President John R. Koelmel today announced a portfolio of corporate partnerships for the hockey and entertainment complex. Major sponsorship agreements have been signed with Seneca Resorts, First Niagara and BlueCross BlueShield of WNY. Other corporate partners include New Wave Energy, Sahlen’s, New Era Cap Co., ADPRO Sports, Coca-Cola, Speed Global and Uncle Bob’s Self Storage..

“HARBORCENTER will have a significant profile and presence in Buffalo, WNY and beyond,” Koelmel said. “We tremendously value and appreciate the support from our corporate partners that will better enable us to deliver the world-class HARBORCENTER experience for all of our guests and visitors.”

Seneca Resorts, as part of its multi-year deal, will partner with (716) Food and Sport and the Buffalo Marriott HARBORCENTER, to enhance the guest experience for customers of their downtown facility. In addition, Seneca Resorts is the title sponsor of the adult hockey league at The Rinks (Seneca HARBORCENTER Adult Hockey League, HAHL), will support selected events and activities in the facility and will have additional sponsorship representation throughout the complex.

First Niagara also signed a multi-year contract that gives them naming rights to the complex’s 1,800-seat feature rink, which will be known as First Niagara Rink at HARBORCENTER. Other elements of the deal include exclusive ATM service at HARBORCENTER, activation kiosks inside The Rinks, as well as additional sponsorship representation throughout the complex and on the HARBORCENTER website and social media.

As part of its multi-year contract, BlueCross BlueShield of WNY will be the title sponsor of the Youth Development Program, which provides an opportunity for more than 4,000 local youth hockey players to experience HARBORCENTER, and will also be the presenting sponsor of public skates prior to Buffalo Sabres home games as well as Academy of Hockey instructional video vignettes. They too will have visible sponsorship representation throughout the complex.

New Wave Energy, the “Official Energy Provider of HARBORCENTER”, will be recognized as “the Power Behind HARBORCNETER”. Sahlen’s will be a sponsor of the concession stand on Level Seven of The Rinks and Coca-Cola will have the exclusive pouring rights throughout HARBORCENTER, including (716) Food and Sport.

In addition to custom hat offerings in (716) Food and Sport, New Era Cap Co. will offer hat customization inside The Rinks and a dedicated website to offer pre-ordering for tournament team hats. AdPro Sports will have a website to sell official HARBORCENTER apparel.

Speed Global and Uncle Bob’s Self Storage will each have sponsorship and signage representation throughout the complex.
