The Buffalo Sabres finished their three game west coast trip with a 6-2 pounding at the hands of the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks scored four times in the first period and twice more in the second to run away from the struggling Sabres.

Mikhail Grigorenko did score the two goals for Buffalo, his first two of the season. Ryan Miller stopped 28 shots in the first two periods while dropping to 2-11.

The Sabres return home on Tuesday to host the Los Angeles Kings a team they lost to 2-0 this past Thursday in L.A. Buffalo’s record is now 3-15-1 with seven points, the lowest point total in the NHL
