The 2019 Niagara Falls Sports Hall of Fame inductions took place at the Como Restaurant on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls Saturday, October 19th. A crowd of family and friends exceeding 250 watched on as nine inductees and one service award winner were introduced and addressed the gathering.
The 2019 inductees are Marty Felice, James (Mike) Niland, Randy Burns, Rick Sweeney, Sue (O’Callaghan) Hefferon, George Salimbene, Paul Quarantillo, Jerry Fabiano, Jim Portese and John Loss was awarded the Pep DiRamio Service Award.
The applications for the Niagara Falls Sports Hall of Fame are accepted and reviewed by the Board of Directors which includes President Tony Quaranto, Vice President Dan Bazzani, Treasurer Pete Eodice, PR and By-laws interpreter Joe Rizzo, Secretary Mitch Adamshick, Sargent of Arms Paul Smith, Pete Marra, Frank Previte Jr, Chuck Ogrodowski, Billy Clingersmith, John Goodfellow, Bill Ross, Joe Colosi and Frank Colucci.
