Buffalo Sabres number one draft pick Jack Eichel continues to impress as he scored a short handed goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night enroute to a 4-0 victory.

Eichel’s rookie partner from Boston University Evan Rodrigues also scored two goals in the win as he battles for a roster spot.

Matt Moulson also scored for the Sabres.

Robin Lehner came up strong in the win making 24 saves for the shutout.

Toronto goaltender Jonathan Bernier allowed three goals on 17 shots. His replacement, James Reimer, made 14 saves on 15 shots.
