Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed free agent DL Jarius Wynn. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Wynn played in 15 games (five with San Diego and 10 with Dallas) during the 2013 season and recorded 11 tackles and 2.0 sacks.

The 6-3, 285-pound Georgia product entered the NFL as a sixth-round (182nd overall) draft choice of the Green Bay Packers in 2009. He has appeared in 58 career games and totaled 45 tackles (34 solo) and 8.5 sacks in stints with the Packers (2009-11), Tennessee Titans (2012), San Diego Chargers (2013) and Dallas Cowboys (2013).

Q:  What were the reasons you signed with the Bills?
A: The reason I signed was I felt it was great opportunity for me and my family to come here. They wanted me here, so that’s why I’m here.

Q: Where do you see yourself fitting in with the defense and what made this a good fit for you?
A: I can fit in at the D-end spot, playing the five and the nine. I feel like I’m a natural D-end, I feel like that’s where I fit in on this defense.

Q: What would you say has been the biggest challenge bouncing around the last couple of years from team to team?
A: I guess the biggest thing has been opportunity. Given the opportunity to really just showcase my talent when somebody gives me a real opportunity to come in and play I think that would be the best thing. That’s what I think has been a problem, but I’ve been grateful and glad to do whatever the team gave me and go out there and show my talent. I feel like I have so much talent in different situations, but I never just had the opportunity to really just play.

Q: You have played, you got a good number of snaps for Dallas last season and really with Green Bay you saw a good number of snaps. Do you feel like you’ve proven to teams that you can be part of the rotation?
A: Yes I have. I think in Dallas I played 30 percent and I think I did pretty good. I feel like I have shown improvement to guys that I can play in this league and rotate in the rotation, but I’m not trying to be a rotation guy this year. I’m trying to come in and win the starting position and showcase my talent to be able to help my family out.

Q: What is your playing weight?
A: Right now I have dropped down to about 273 (pounds). That’s my weight right at this moment.

Q: Do you know any of the other players on this team and what do you think about the defensive line?
A: The guy that I really know is Cordy Glenn, who plays offensive tackle here. As far as the D-line they have great guys up front. Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, Mario Williams and (Jerry) Hughes. They’re pretty stacked on defense and I’m just glad to be coming in and join these guys. Hopefully we can win a bunch of games and get in to the playoffs.
